LONDON (ShareCast) - Quintain Estates chief executive Adrian Wyatt has sold 52,000 shares in the property developer, it was revealed today, netting the boss a cool £471,000.

Wyatt, who offloaded the stake at 906.5p per share, has 1.96m shares in the group left, representing 1.5% of the company.

The group, responsible for building work around the new Wembley stadium, has enjoyed a bumper performance over the past 10 months, surging from 530p to a high of 963p in February.

In November last year, the firm reported a 18% increase in profit before tax excluding discontinued items for the six months to 30 September to £5.6m.

The net asset value per share was down a touch to 525p from 526p at the end of March 2006.
