LONDON (ShareCast) - Non-executive chairman of Eatonfield Group Leslie Young has splashed out more than £200,000 on shares in the AIM listed property developer, it emerged today.
Shares in the firm, which has already rallied more than 30% since the middle of March, added ground on news of the 110,000 share buy at 186p each.
In addition, Young’s wife added to her stake, snapping up 30,000 shares at the same price, taking the pair’s beneficial interest to 210,000 shares, or 0.91% of the company.
Finance boss Terry Carroll and his spouse joined in the fun, paying 188p each for 5,000 shares.
The move follows today’s announcement that the company has sold the Bookham Technology site in Paignton for £10.1m, together with an overage depending on the way the site is developed and/or realised in future.
“The capital released from Paignton will be reapplied in opportunities we already have in hand,” said Young.
