LONDON (ShareCast) - LMS Capital saw its managing director Martin Pexton buy shares in the investment company a day after the group announced swinging into profit in the first half of 2007.
Pexton bought 250,000 shares at 71.95p each, to increase his stake to 615,000 shares, or 0.22% of the issues share capital.
The group said yesterday that profit before tax in the six months to the end of June was £8.4m, compared with a pre-tax loss of £21.1m in the nine months to end-December 2006.
In the first half of the year, the value of the company's investment portfolio rose 9% to £256m from £234.9m at the end of 2006, while net asset value per share edged up to 93p from 90p.
