LONDON (ShareCast) - Bosses at credit checking company Experian were in buying mood, with non-executive directors Alan Jebson and Fabiola Arredondo both dipping in.
Former HSBC chief operating officer Jebson bought 20,000 shares at 431.5p each, while Arredondo snapped up 56,000 shares at 415.92p a go.
The shares have fallen around 35% from their best levels back in July. Last month, Experian warned that a slowdown in organic sales growth during the second quarter is expected to continue in the second half.
Revenue in the six months to end-September rose 17% to $1.95bn from $1.66bn in the corresponding period of 2006, with organic growth up 6%.
Melrose Resources chairman Robert Adair has lifted his stake in the Edinburgh oil and gas firm to 52.71% after buying 145,916 shares at 310p each.
The Bulgarian government has granted it exploration rights to Block Galata, an exploration concession which surrounds the Melrose operated Galata producing gas field.
The group expects to cut its working interest in the Block to around 60% to share exploration drilling risks and costs. Three prospects within the Block have a combined unrisked reserves potential of around 100 billion cubic feet and are medium risk.
