LONDON (ShareCast) - Shares in AIM-listed cancer treatment company ValiRx jumped by 17% after it announced a joint venture with Belgium’s Institute of Pathology and Genetics (IPG).
The joint venture will create ValiBIO, a research and commercialisation company.
ValiBIO will receive funding and staff from BIO, the commercial arm of the IPG, and will be used to develop technologies that ValiRx holds licenses for.
