LONDON (ShareCast) - Shares in Dialight rose after the LED technology specialist said it expects full year results to be in line with expectations and that demand for components products have stabilised after a slow first quarter.

Sales in the components business were similar to those of the 2006 year and the signals/lighting business has had another year of good sales growth with second half demand helped by the first orders for the white LED Obstruction light and the Safesite hazardous light product lines.

“The board remains focussed on pursuing a corporate strategy that will continue to deliver sustained growth in shareholder value and to this end, has initiated a broad ranging review of all the group's businesses,” said the group.

NXT gained after the flat-panel speaker technology firm said it has had a positive start to the year with four major TV brands presenting flat panel TVs fitted with the group's balanced radiator (BR) drive units at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES).

The group said it has unveiled a number of new products at CES including a BR-equipped professional desktop conference system from communications specialist Tech-Vision and portable speaker products from computer peripherals brand Targus.

“CES is a key sales and marketing vehicle for NXT, providing us with the opportunity to present our latest advances to existing and potential customers, industry influencers and the media in one place,” said chief executive Peter Thoms.
