LONDON (ShareCast) - Directors of Concateno, the AIM-listed drug and alcohol testing company, have been lifting their stakes in the company after yesterday’s trading update, which said results for 2007 were in line with expectations.
Company director Vin Murria bought 100,000 shares in the company, her first purchase.
Chief executive officer Fiona Begley and chairman Keith Tozzi, a former director of Southern Water, each bought 20,000 shares, bringing their respective stakes in the company to 961,177 shares and 120,000 shares.
The directors each paid 110p for every share. Begley’s stake in the company amounts to around 1%, while Murria and Tozzi each have a stake of around 0.1%.
The company also said that Marwyn Neptune Fund had acquired a further 722,965 shares, also at 110p a share, bringing its stake to 18,047,496 shares, or around 19% of the company.
Concateno owns a range of businesses, whose services include testing prisoners for illegal drug use.
