LONDON (ShareCast) - AIM listed drug developer Fulcrum Pharma has named Dr Frank Armstrong as its replacement for outgoing chief executive Jon Court.
Armstrong will take over from Court, who announced his desire to step down in January, on 1 April.
At the start of the year, Court said he thought the group’s long term prospects would be better served by a CEO with the experience of managing a large, multinational business.
Armstrong has more than 20 years' experience at major pharmaceutical and leading biotechnology companies, most recently as president and chief executive of Nasdaq listed CuraGen Corporation.
He has also worked in various roles for Germany’s Bayer, ICI Chemicals and as senior vice president of the medical research and communications at Zeneca.
