LONDON (ShareCast) - Contract caterer Compass was one of the few risers today with sentiment helped by chief executive Richard Cousins snapping up 50,000 shares at 301.25p. The purchase takes his total holding up 300,000 shares.
In its trading statement in February, Compass said operating profit for the first three months was“running well ahead” of last year's first quarter and marginally ahead of expectations. It has delivered good organic growth by achieving a better balance between like for like growth and net new contract wins, it said.
