DSG appoints former Menzies chief

LONDON (ShareCast) - Electricals retailer DSG International has appointed former John Menzies chief executive Patrick McDonald to be its new chief operating officer from 1 May.

McDonald, who left Menzies in March last year, will report to DSG chief executive John Browett and focus on driving improvements across the group's international operating model.

"I am very excited to be joining DSGi at this time. The business faces some significant challenges, but with a strong brand and solid foundation, there is much to build on. I look forward to working with John Browett and the team in realising the group's potential," McDonald said.
