LONDON (ShareCast) - Biodegradable packaging group Stanelco said its financial year has started well and in line with expectations.
Current sales from Biotec are in line with company expectations and its Bioplastics team have started to achieve some "encouraging sales traction in a number of end-user areas," it said in a company update.
Stanleco expects continued progress in its core businesses and is confident about prospects for further commercialisation and development this year, it added.
In March the company warned that revenues for 2007 were hit by reduced orders from one of its main customers French packaging supplier SPhere.
