LONDON (ShareCast) - Thirdforce chairman Pat McDonagh lifted his stake in the e-learning courses developer to 23.9% today with a hefty share purchase.
He bought 2.5m shares at 10.5p a share and 3.5m at 13.35 euro cents, spending the equivalent of around £630,000 altogether, meaning he now has around 60.65m shares in the Uxbridge-based firm.
Last month he bought nearly 1m shares, paying just under 11p. He took more than 10m shares between September and December, with the price he paid ranging from around 11.9p to 12.12p.
Shares in the company, which sells its e-learning course software to bodies such as secondary schools, colleges and government agencies, have fallen by more than 30% over the past year.
In February the group said 2007 operating profit was ahead of expectations, but warned that 2008 growth levels would fall short of previous forecasts due to the on-going global decline in economic confidence and the prospect of continuing sterling and dollar weakness.
