LONDON (ShareCast) - Business Post chief executive Guy Buswell added a large chunk to his stake in the parcel, mail and logistics firm today as it delivered a sharp increase in pre-tax profits.

He bought 20,665 shares at 305p each and now has 103,851, or just under 0.2% of the company.

Shares in Business Post gained almost 13% today after it said full-year pre-tax profits jumped 45% to £14.2m on revenues that climbed by 10% to £358.6m.

Buswell was joined by finance director Steven Glew, who bought 3,585 shares to lift his stake to 36,514 shares, and Alec Ross, who upped his holding by 2,950 shares to 30,061. They also paid 305p a share.

Buswell has seen strong gains in the value of his last big purchase, having taken 8,368 shares at 239p each in January.
