Nighthawk starts pilot production

LONDON (ShareCast) - US focused hydrocarbon production and development company Nighthawk Energy has started pilot production at its Devon Oilfield waterflood project in Kansas, USA.

The company said 28 successful appraisal wells are ready to be placed on primary oil production prior to and during full water injection.

The building of a surface gathering system, which will tie in the production and injector wells, has begun and is expected to complete by the end of July.

“The planned development strategy of the company is on course and Devon is now our second project to be brought to production status,” said Nighthawk’s chief executive officer, David Bramhill.

“I am confident that further of our development projects will move into production over the next twelve months,” Bramhill added.
