LONDON (ShareCast) - Shares in NXT were slightly higher after the flat panel speaker technology firm said that the Access Cab variant of the new Toyota Tacoma will be fitted with an NXT-equipped roof liner speaker system as standard when it goes on sale in North America from this month.

The Tacoma is the biggest selling mid-size truck in North America and the latest model features multiple interior and exterior equipment upgrades, including the NXT roof liner speaker system.

“The availability of another Toyota model featuring NXT's roof liner speaker system is a further endorsement of our technology's ability to deliver an enhanced experience in the acoustically challenging vehicle cabin environment,” said NXT chief executive, Peter Thoms.

“We are pleased to extend our relationship with both Toyota and FujitsuTen and look forward to further progress with this excellent application for NXT,” he added.
