LONDON (ShareCast) - Northern Foods chief executive Stefan Barden has topped up his holding in the Goodfellas pizza maker, spending nearly £100,000 on shares.
He bought 158,000 shares for just under 63p a go and now has about 1.33m of them, or 0.3% of the company.
The price he paid was well short of the 75p his wife Sandra shelled out at the beginning of this month when she bought 264,572 shares. The ones she bought are included within Barden’s holding.
Northern Foods saw its rating at Goldman Sachs lowered to ‘neutral’ from ‘buy’, with the broker saying the firm could suffer in coming months if commodity prices stay high.
