Autonomy enters license agreement with eBay

LONDON (ShareCast) - Global leader in infrastructure Autonomy Corporation has entered into a license agreement with eBay.

"Autonomy Corporation, a global leader in infrastructure software for the enterprise, today announced that it has entered into an agreement with eBay Inc. for the license of Autonomy software," it said in a brief statement.

In April, Autonomy said pre-tax profit rose to $23.6m in the quarter ended 31 March from $16.1m. Revenue was up 61% to $105.1m, thanks to strong organic growth and the contribution from acquisitions.
