LONDON (ShareCast) - Gene therapy group Oxford Biomedica continued to make headway following Monday’s news on its renal cancer treatment.

The company talked up the prospects of TroVax, which received a disappointing verdict from the Data Safety Monitoring Board (DSMB) the previous Friday.

The Oncology Clinical Trials Office (OCTO), part of the Clinical Pharmacology Department of Oxford University, still intends to advance the Phase III trial of TroVax in adjuvant colorectal cancer,

But NXT eased half a penny a day after the flat-panel speaker technology company announced its move into the high definition liquid crystal display television market.

The 52” ViewSonic 5230p is the first commercially available TV to be fitted with NXT’s balanced radiator (BR) technology.
