LONDON (ShareCast) - BT’s finance director Hanif Lalani has upped his stake in the telecoms giant with the purchase of £100,000 worth of shares.
He took 58,515 shares in the company today paying 170.9p a time and now has a personal holding of 169,812 shares (not including shares he owns through employee plans).
The purchase comes a day after BT reported a 1% increase in fourth quarter earnings – just below forecasts – causing a sharp reduction in the share price.
Back in May, Uganda-born Lalani sold just under 21,000 shares at 232.8p a time.
