Galliford Try wins £84.5m of affordable housing contracts

LONDON (ShareCast) - Galliford Try registered its best price in three months today on news that the construction and housebuilding firm has been awarded affordable housing projects worth £84.5m.

The firm said it has secured four projects to regenerate communities and build 671 affordable homes for rent and shared ownership in London and the South East.

It has been appointed preferred bidder for the £34.5m development at Innova Park, Enfield by the Circle Anglia Housing Association.

The company will also build an £11m development in Plaistow, East London for Circle Anglia, a £23m project in Hornsey, East London, for One Housing Group, and £16m contract in Plumstead on behalf of ASRA Greater London Housing Association.
