LONDON (ShareCast) - Micro Focus rises after the software house reported a "solid" first quarter and has reiterated its full year target of double digit organic revenue growth at constant currencies.

Engineer Weir recovers some of the losses its first half results triggered yesterday, helped by positive broker notes from Cazenove and UBS.

Imperial Energy is higher on talk the Russia-focused oil producer could be sold within days.

Independent reinsurance and risk intermediary Benfield moves higher after Merrill Lynch raised its rating on the group to ‘buy’ from ‘underperform’.

Moving to the fallers, expectations of a poor economic environment in core markets prompted JP Morgan to lower its rating on electrical retailer DSG International to ‘underweight’ from ‘neutral’.
