LONDON (ShareCast) - Shares in the struggling care services group Claimar Care received a boost today after chief executive Mark Hales bought 1.3m shares in the company.

He paid 7p for each share, or a total of £91,000, and now has around 9.5m shares, around 19.1% of the company.

Claimar works with local authorities, providing staff to help the elderly and people with learning and physical disabilities to fulfil every day tasks such as dressing and washing.

The company issued a profit warning in June after suffering delays in contracts and struggling to pass on staff and fuel costs.
