FTSE 250 movers: Johnston Press rallies

Date: Friday 15 Aug 2008

LONDON (ShareCast) - Shares in Johnston Press have rallied after taking a knock yesterday when Landsbanki downgraded the Scotsman publisher to ‘reduce’ from ‘hold’. Daily Mail publisher DMGT joins the advance

GKN rises after Goldman Sachs lifted its rating on the engineering group to ‘buy’ from ‘neutral’.

Recruitment firm Michael Page fell after it rejected the £1.3bn unsolicited preliminary approach from Switzerland's Adecco announced earlier this month, and ended talks.

Financial software group Misys falls back after Landsbanki reiterated its ‘reduce’ rating on the group.
