LONDON (ShareCast) - CRDB Bank of Tanzania is to implement Misys BankFusion Universal Banking, the UK financial software group said Monday.
The deal forms part of CRDB’s expansion plans that involve opening 10 new branches each year. The bank, government owned until 1996, will also launch a fully automated and integrated banking service and add new products.
Misys BankFusion Universal Banking allows banks to cope with high volume processing, add new products and processes, choose hardware, software and services and cut overall technology and operational costs.
In this instance, Misys Trade Innovation will help the expansion of CRDB’s trade finance operations, while Misys Opics will fully automate the treasury department. Compliance and performance monitoring at risk management will be covered by Misys Almonde.
