LONDON (ShareCast) - BATM’s chief executive sold more than £1m worth of shares in broadband and telecoms company yesterday.

Zvi Marom offloaded 2m shares at 57p each, taking in a total of £1.14m. He also exercised options granted in the past nine years over about 2.2m shares.

Following the sale he has around 90m shares or 22.77% of the company.

Yesterday, the company said it was on target to fulfil its ambitious targets for full-year results, with contracts emanating from the Beijing Olympics having boosted sales.

“Despite the general weakness in the global economy, our excellent first half underpins our optimism for further growth, both this year and beyond,” he said.
