LONDON (ShareCast) - Accuma struggled today despite moving into the black for the year and announcing that boss Charles Howson and finance director Samantha Poole have snapped up shares.
Both forked out just over £48,000 for 19,000 shares in the personal insolvency specialist at a cost of 253p each.
Howson is now the proud owner of 6.9m shares, or 21% of the company, while Poole’s holding now amounts to 44,795.
Earlier, Accuma announced a profit of £1.78m versus a loss of £473,000 last year on turnover up from £2.87m to just under £10m, as the number of Britons getting into debt problems continues to rise.
"We are confident of achieving market expectations for 2007 and indeed of our prospects in future years," said Howson.
