LONDON (ShareCast) - Homebuilder Persimmons non executive director R C Neil Davidson has ramped up his stake in the group, acquiring 35,500 shares.
Davidson paid 1394p per share at a cost of just under £500,000, taking his stake to 38,350 shares.
The group recently said it was continuing to trade in line with expectations but warned that the market remained competitive, adding that it continues to use selective incentives to lure new customers.
Elsewhere Rose Foster, chief executive of fashion retailer Monsoon, has sold her entire stake in the company.
Foster sold a total of 97,000 shares in Monsoon, at prices between 388p and 391p per share, for a total sum of £379,000.
The group had been in takeover talks with its chairman Peter Simon, who already owns around 75% of the company, however the talks ended in March this year.
