Housebuilder Bovis announced that its finance director Neil Cooper will leave the company to take the same job at bookmaker William Hill.
Bovis said Cooper will resign from the board and leave the company to enable him to take up the new position.
A recruitment process for a new finance director will commence immediately and an announcement will be made once this process has been concluded, it added.
William Hill said it expects Cooper to join the group next year, while Bovis said he has a contractual notice period of twelve months.
