Path Investments to float on London Stock Exchange on Thursday
Path Investments is to float on the London Stock Exchange on 30 March as the energy investor bids to capitalise on the downturn in the price of oil.
The company will be admitted on the main market for listed securities under the ticker PATH and ISIN, GB00BYQD5059.
Path aims to buy oil and gas production, or near production, assets which have a lower risk profile than exploration or development assets.
The company said the sharp decline in the oil price over the last three years has provided an opportunity to buy interests in assets owned by financially distressed exploration led oil and gas companies.
Path will make direct investments to establish greater control over risk management, investment decisions and cash flows.
It plans to create a diverse asset portfolio with income streams which have the potential for growth.
Chief executive Christopher Theis said: "We have established a very strong management team at Path Investments and have a significant pipeline of potential deals to examine.
“Our intention is to be highly selective in our approach, seeking out cash flow producing assets in attractive geographies."
