Boohoo.com boosts revenue amid global growth
Online fashion retailer Boohoo.com reported higher first-half revenue and said it was seeing growth around the globe.
Boohoo, which floated in March and is challenging online rivals such as Asos, said first-half revenue rose 31% to £67m or 36% on a constant currency basis.
Second quarter revenue growth of 37% or 41% at constant currencies was up from 24% and 28% respectively in the first quarter.
Sales increased across all regions during the second quarter with the UK up by half, the rest of Europe up 61% at constant currencies and the rest of the world up 8% on the same basis.
Boohoo said in a trading update: "The company confirms that it continues to trade in line with expectations for the full year to 28 February 2015."
Shares rose 3.25p or 7.9% to 44.25p at 15:35 in London.
