PURCHASE OF OWN SHARES

Schroder UK Growth Fund plc (the "Company") announces that on 15 December 2017 the Company purchased 173,000 ordinary shares at a price of 175.26 pence per share, to be held in treasury.

Following this purchase, the Company's issued share capital consists of 152,430,684 ordinary shares of 25p each, and an additional 8,486,500 ordinary shares held in treasury. Accordingly, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 152,430,684.

The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for. the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
