London pre-open: Stocks to rise after Wall Street gains

(Sharecast News) - London stocks were set to rise at the open on Thursday following a positive close on Wall Street and solid gains for Japan's Nikkei, which was up 2.3%.
The FTSE 100 was called to open around 30 points higher.
