Air traffic growth slowed at British Airways owner International Consolidated Airlines Group (IAG) in March, according to figures published by the company on Wednesday.

Traffic levels across the group, measured in revenue passenger kilometres, increased by 2.6% in March compared to the same month last year, which was down from the 2.9% in February and the 4.4% in January.
Group capacity, measured in available seat kilometres, picked up 2.4% in March, compared to from 2.2% the month before and 5.1% in the first month of the year.
Premium traffic for the month was up 6.9% compared to the previous year, following a 4.7% rise in February and 6.9% in January.
March saw IAG launch a low-cost long-haul brand called Level ahead of first regular commercial flights in June from Barcelona to Los Angeles, San Francisco (Oakland), Buenos Aires and the Dominican Republic.
Initially the line, using two new Airbus A330 aircraft, will be operated by Iberia's flight and cabin crew and will create up to 250 jobs in Barcelona.
BA also introduced a European business-class service on all its UK domestic flights.
