AIV Overview

Apartment Investment and Management Company (AIMCO) is a real estate investment trust (REIT) and, with a geographically diverse portfolio of more than 300,000 apartment homes, is the largest owner/operator of apartment properties in the United States. Its principal business is the acquisition, ownership, management and redevelopment of apartment properties. The company’s portfolio is located across 47 states and also Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico, and serves approximately 1m residents each year.
