How To Use

The Top Movers tool provides a range of selection criteria that can be used to find companies of interest. The selection criteria are grouped into a number of categories – Financials, Price, Company Deals, RiskGrades, Company Size, Volume, Sectors and Miscellaneous.

Key Fields

Price Movement – You can find out what companies have risen or fallen the most over the day, week or month.

Valuation Ratios – This focuses on four of the most popular ratios. P/E, PEG, Price to Book, and Price to Sales.

Income Ratios – These screens are good for investors that are more interested in the Dividends that are being paid out.

Risk – You can find out what companies have the highest and lowest Beta.

Growth Ratios – By using the EPS growth you can find companies that have grown in the past and are expected to grow in the future.

Management Effectiveness – This focuses on how well the company is using their revenue by using Operating Margin and ROCE.

Broker Recommendations – By purely focusing on what the Brokers are saying you can find out what are for Buying, Selling or Holding.

Share Performance

Price Movements – This goes into more detail then the Price Movement in the Key Field section. You are also able to find out what Index and Sector has risen or fallen the most as well as what companies are hitting their 52 week highs or lows.

Risk – This section looks at RiskGrade as well as Beta.

Spread – This looks at the difference between a companies bid and offer value (in other words the spread!!).

Trades – This screen will show you the companies that have had the biggest volume of trades for today.

Ratios

Growth Ratios – This section goes into more detail and uses Pre-Tax profit growth, Dividend growth and Turnover growth as well as the EPS Growth which you will find in the Key Field section.

Valuation Ratios – By using P/E, PEG, Price to Book and Price to Sales ratios, you are able to find companies that are undervalued in the Market.

Income Ratios – This purely focuses on Dividends.

Management Effectiveness – You can find companies with the highest Operating Margin and ROCE.

Director Deals

Director Deals – These screens look at what Directors are buying, selling and which companies have the largest deals over the day, week, 6 months or year.

Technical Analysis

Chart Shapes - By using popular chart shapes these screens can tell you what companies are following the charts trends.

Buy and Sell Signals - This uses the 5 most commonly used charting to find buy and sell signals.
