Temporary hotel accommodation provider Snoozebox has confirmed rumours that it is set to provide hotel rooms for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Snoozebox, which provides easy-assembly portable buildings for use as hotels at big sporting events, said it had noted media speculation regarding its discussions to provide temporary hotel accommodation and a fan-zone for the 2018 World Cup with the host city of Saransk.
"The company can confirm a preliminary agreement has been signed and now a feasibility study and further commercial negotiations will take place," it said in a statement.
Snoozebox shares rose 0.38p or 4.8% to 8.25p at 08:34 in London.
