Spanish carrier Air Europa has ordered 14 new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, which use Rolls-Royce's Trent 1000 engines.
The carrier, which is owned by Spain's Globalia and is Spain's third largest airline, already has eight Trent 1000-powered 787-8s on order that will enter service in 2016.
“We are delighted that Air Europa has once again selected the Trent 1000 and continues to recognise the benefits that this engine brings, delivering excellent lifetime fuel burn and reliability on the aircraft as well as outstanding emissions and noise performance,” said Mark Harrison, a divisional vice president at Rolls-Royce.
