Burberry appoints business veteran Arredondo to board
Shares in Burberry advanced on Wednesday after the British fashion house appointed Fabiola Arredondo as a non-executive.

She will join the board with immediate effect and become a member of the audit, remuneration and nomination committee.
Arredondo, once named by The Wall Street Journal as the most influential businesswoman in Europe, has previously held senior roles at Yahoo, the BBC and Bertelsmann.
She currently works as a managing partner at US investment firm Siempre Holdings, and is a non-executive director at Experian, Rodale, NPR Inc and the World Wildlife Fund (US).
Burberry chairman John Peace said he was "delighted" by the appointment.
"[Arredondo's] international business experience including in the technology, media and luxury retail sectors will be a great asset to Burberry as we continue to focus on delivering long-term shareholder value," he said.
The stock was up nearly 2% at 1,852p by 11:20.
