Under the so-called 'memorandum of understanding', Airbus has agreed to sell 110 planes to the budget carrier in a deal worth more than $12.5bn at list prices.
The agreement - the largest at the show - also gives Wizz Air the purchase rights for another 90 aircraft.
"I don't like these air shows, because every time I come I buy something," Wizz Air's chief executive Jozsef Varadi joked in a press conference.
Blagnac-based Airbus managed to raise orders and commitments for 421 aircraft worth $57bn in the show.
"This was higher than I personally expected," said Fabrice Bregier, chief executive of Airbus Group's planemaking division.
On Friday, Airbus saw its suspension of certification for Airbus A400Ms lifted, which had been put in place as a result of the Seville crash earlier this year.
