Apple's Beats1 head Ian Rogers resigns
Ian Rogers, head of Apple's Beats1's subscription-music service, resigned on Friday, three months after launching its service onto the market.

Rogers, a former Yahoo! executive who joined the company back in 2014 when Apple bought Beats1 for $3bn, is leaving to work for a Europe-based company, people familiar with the matter said.
No further details were revealed, and Apple declined to comment.
Last month, the company said that 11m people had signed up for the three-month free trial in the first month since its launch. Apple's chief executive Tim Cook said that Apple Music was meant to become the “next chapter” of music.

Apple's shares on Thursday rose 2.94% to $112.92.
