Google's boss tops employee satisfaction survey
Google's chief executive Larry Page has been named the best boss in the US and in the UK, according to a survey.
Glassdoor's Employees' Choice Awards showed Page was approved by 97% of its employees in the US and 99% in the UK.
However, for the first time since the launch of the survey, there were no female CEOs in the US list, which includes 50 businesses.
The trend changed in the United Kingdom, with Carolyn McCall, CEO at Easyjet, coming at number five in the chart.
Additionally, American Express' Ken Chenault, Three's David Dyson and HomeServe's Martin Bennett received the best feedback from its employees, who replied to the survey anonymously and voluntarily.
Rover Hohman, the co-founder and CEO of Glassdor, said: “Gaining the trust and approval of an entire workforce is one of the most difficult yet rewarding responsibilities for any leader.
"Winning a Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Award is a significant achievement for any CEO regardless of fame, fortune or company size.”
