Dutch farm confirms second case of Bird flu
The latest outbreak of bird flu has been detected at a farm in Schiphol airport in Amsterdam, according to the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs.

The infected farm has been reported as the second outbreak in the Netherlands in one week.
43,000 chickens at the farm in Ter Aar will be destroyed
The second identified case was detected in a farm in the village of Ter Aar in South Holland, 25 miles from a farm where the first outbreak was reported.

To prevent further spread of the disease to neighbouring farms, all 43,000 chickens at the farm in Ter Aar will be destroyed. The Dutch government has also placed a temporary ban on the transport of poultry and eggs nationwide.
