    Reaction to the results of Italy's bond auction has been muted and London's leading shares continue to drift aimlessly. Italy sold €2.5bn worth of benchmark 10-year bonds at an interest rate of 6.98%, below the psychologically important 7% level, but hardly a level to prompt dancing in the streets.
