Board changes

Synthomer plc ('Synthomer' or 'the Company') is pleased to confirm that following its announcement on 18^th November, Calum MacLean will formally succeed Adrian Whitfield as Group Chief Executive on 22^nd January 2015.

Adrian Whitfield will also step down from the Board on the 22^nd January and leave the Company after helping with a handover process.

The Company also announces that David Blackwood, Group Finance Director, has informed the Board that he wishes to retire following 7 successful years at Synthomer. David will remain as Group Finance Director, working closely with Calum MacLean until his successor is found.

The Board will initiate a comprehensive search for the next Group Finance Director and a further announcement will be made in due course.
