Renamed PREMIER VETERINARY GROUP PLC

 NEW BOARD APPOINTMENT

London, UK, 9 March 2015 (LSE: AKT):  Further to the approval of shareholders at its General Meeting held on 11 December 2014, Ark Therapeutics Group plc (the "Company") is pleased to confirm its change of name to Premier Veterinary Group plc (LSE: PVG) with immediate effect. Trading in shares under the new name, Premier Veterinary Group plc, will start at the commencement of trading on 10 March 2015. The ISIN and SEDOL numbers will not change.

As at the date of this announcement, there are 13,951,773 ordinary shares of 10 pence each in issue and the total number of voting rights in the Company is 13,951,773.  This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.

A further announcement regarding the change in the Company's website address to reflect the new name will be made in due course.

Board Appointment

The Company is also pleased to announce that Graham Dick BVSc MRCVS has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 9 March 2015.

Mr Dick has extensive experience in the international Animal Health Sector having most recently been Country Divisional Head of the UK/Eire Animal Health Division of Bayer Healthcare. After 12 years as a partner in a thriving veterinary practice, Mr Dick joined the Ministry of Agriculture Fisheries and Food before joining Bayer Healthcare, where for over 20 years he undertook a number of senior commercial and management roles in Europe and Australasia.
