Directors' Interests in the shares of BTG plc

The Company runs an HMRC approved Sharesave Scheme in which all UK staff are eligible to participate. The Sharesave options granted in 2013 became eligible for exercise as from 1 September 2016.

Louise Makin

Louise Makin participated in this Scheme, holding an option over 1,243 ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at an exercise price of 289.49p per share.

On 1 September, Louise elected to exercise her options at a cost of £3,598.36, when the closing mid-market price was 600.0p per share, and to retain the shares released.

Following this transaction, Louise Makin's shareholding has increased from 702,884 to 704,127 shares, being 0.183% of the issued share capital.

Rolf Soderstrom

Rolf Soderstrom also participated in this Scheme, holding an option over 3,108 Ordinary Shares at an exercise price of 289.49p per share.

On 1 September, Rolf elected to exercise his options at a cost of £8,997.35, when the closing mid-market price was 600.0p per share, and to retain the shares released.

Following this transaction, Rolf Soderstrom's shareholding has increased from 284,228 to 287,336 shares, being 0.075% of the issued share capital.
