Total Voting Rights and Capital

In accordance with the requirements of the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rule 5.6.1R, Hochschild Mining plc (the "Company") advises that its issued share capital as at 31 December 2016 consisted of 507,232,310 Ordinary Shares of 25p ("Shares"). Each Share carries the right to one vote in relation to all circumstances at general meetings of the Company.  The Company does not hold any Shares in Treasury.  Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 507,232,310.

The above figure may be used by shareholders and others with notification obligations as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
