THE BANKERS INVESTMENT TRUST PLC PAYS FIRST INTERIM DIVIDEND

 FOR THE YEAR ENDING 31 OCTOBER 2017

The Bankers Investment Trust PLC has declared a first interim dividend of 4.40p per ordinary share net (2015: 4.00p) in respect of the year ending 31 October 2017 payable on 31 May 2017 to shareholders registered on 21 April 2017.  The Company's shares go ex-dividend on 20 April 2017. The dividend is to be paid from the Company's revenue account.
