Amati VCT 2 plc

This announcement replaces the announcement made on 28 February 2017 at 11.06am for the issue of equity.  The number of Ordinary shares issued and therefore the shares in issue following the allotment was incorrect.

Top Up Offer for subscription of New Ordinary shares of 5p each (the "Offer")

Amati VCT 2 plc announces an allotment on 27 February 2017 of 694,931 New Ordinary Shares pursuant to the Offer.  In accordance with the Terms and Conditions of the Offer, the Offer price at which New Ordinary Shares were allotted, which was calculated by reference to the net asset value of an ordinary Share on 23 February 2017, was a price of 130.02p per ordinary share (net asset value divided by 0.99 to allow for issue costs of 1.0 per cent).

Following the correction, the total number of Ordinary Shares in issue at 27 February 2017 was 33,220,200 with voting rights.

On 17 March 2017 the total number of Ordinary Shares in issue is 33,190,200 with voting rights.
