Posting of Circular

SVG Capital plc (the "Company" or "SVG Capital") is today posting a circular to shareholders of the Company ("Shareholders") to convene a general meeting at 10.00 a.m. on 28 June 2017 to commence the members' voluntary liquidation in relation to SVG Capital ("Members' Voluntary Liquidation") and approve the appointment of the proposed liquidators with effect from 28 June 2017 (the "Circular").

The winding up of the Company will complete the return of value to Shareholders. Further details in respect of such arrangements are included in the Circular.

If the Company enters into Members' Voluntary Liquidation, the listing of the issued ordinary shares in the capital of the Company on the official listed maintained by the UK Listing Authority will be cancelled (which is expected to be at 8.00 a.m. on 29 June 2017).

A copy of the Circular will be submitted to the National Storage Mechanism and will shortly be available for inspection at: www.morningstar.co.uk.
